Born 1937 in Sombor (Vojvodina).
1955. studied arhitecture at the Arhitecture Faculty in Zagreb. 1956 – 1960 he becomes a bank clerk in Jurišićeva street. Between 1960 – 62 he serves his military servise in the Yugoslav National Army ine the tank brigade at Crveni krst in Niš.
From 1962 -1967 he works as a clerk in the Mladen Stojanovič hospital, responsible for payroll accounts. In 1967 he is accepted into the film directing program at the Academy of Performing Arts in Belgrade, in the class of Aleksadar Petrović.
In 1972 he is politically houndedforhis participation in Lazar Stojanović film „Plastic Jesus“, he has his literary work „Group enjoyment“ published in the Anthology of New Serbian short stories.
To 1976. he is not allowed to graduate and finally he graduates with his student film „Verdict“
He carries out his first performance in 1954 in Mostar, his first series of photographs in 1960 in zagreb, his first amateur film „Death“ in 1962 at the Cine Club Zagreb.
Along with many one-man exhibitions as well as group exhibitions and taken part in many anthology- piece presentations.
In 2007 awarded from HDLU (Croatian association of artists) for life work
In 2005 he changed his name from Tomislav Gotovac to Antonio Lauer.
From 1941 to 1967 and since 1975 he has lived and worked in Zagreb. |
